The view from the room and the pool was absolutely beautiful and superb. The facilities in the room were also great, including a washing machine with a dryer, crockery, and a fridge. However, there were no toothbrushes or bathrobes provided. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices, and most of the food was delicious, except for the fried rice and fried kuey teow, which were not particularly impressive. As a hotel that claims to be a 5-star property, I believe there is still room for improvement, especially in terms of cleanliness. There was some mould in the bathroom, and it could have been cleaner. The room and curtains also appeared to be quite dusty. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, I think having a more proper and professional uniform or attire would make them look more presentable, as they are the first point of contact and create the first impression for guests. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but there are still several areas that could be improved to fully meet 5-star hotel standards.

Friendly staff, spacious rooms, nice view

As a newly opened property, Fraser Residence Putrajaya has potential. The location is a definite plus—walking distance to restaurants and eateries around Ayer Putrajaya. That said, some facilities felt smaller than expected, particularly the kids’ playroom, which did not quite match what we had seen in some social-media reviews. The café is also rather small, although the food was okay. The room rate was on the pricey side, possibly because our stay coincided with the Merdeka Day weekend and school holidays. Room service was not available to us during our stay, which was inconvenient when we wanted a meal without leaving the property. We also noticed a minor air-conditioning leak in one room, unfortunately only on check-out day. A special shout-out to Mr. Sylvester at receptionfor his thoughtfulness and consideration. His warm and helpful service was much appreciated. Overall, a promising new property with a great location, but there is still room for improvement as it settles into operation.
