I booked 2 nights with 2 units. The first night, the 1st unit aircon was not functioning. Then the second night, at around 830 pm, black out happened. We called and texted the host, but no replied. It was hot and dark. There were no near neighbours for us to ask for help. With a toddler and kids in the middle of nowhere, we had to find a new homestay that particular night. Luckily we are able to get one but the location was more deeper in the jungle. The next day, the host replied at 7 am. He mentioned, he watched the cctv and said the electric was already available. He even blamed us for calling through whatsapp when actually we called not just through whatsapp but the normal line as well as trying to reach through message in Agoda.He promised for refund, but to this day, no refund is given. This is the worst experience that we had to go through with a host. Jeli is a small secluded town. Should anyone experience the similar situation, they may not be able to be as lucky as we are to find a new place to stay in the nick of time. I have never written such a review but this one, i cant help but to warn others so they will not experience the same situation.
