The Ahwahnee

Spent two nights here during this years’s renovations. The dining room was closed and so was the kitchen so dinners were buffet or bar food. The food is good but wine list is limited considering we are in California. The location is perfect and you can enjoy hiking, climbing, biking and everything else without a need to drive further. The hotel definitely needs a refresh but trust will be back to its glorious days once the renovations are done. Staff is accommodating and welcoming. They do have EV charging and a good system of rotating cars so we can all have ours ready to go the next day, a rarity in Yosemite and surrounding area

The hotel is located in an excellent location inside the National Park. The staff is professional and help. Beautiful scenery though a bit of pricing, it remain deserve to experience once.

Fantastic location to stay within Yosemite, walking distance from Degnan's and the store (free shuttle also available). Valet parking with friendly staff. The room and hotel have a premium feel with everything you'd expect of a modern hotel among the original style from almost a century ago.

Because we booked on relatively short notice we used Agoda to get a room during one of the busiest times of the year. The downside was we paid about 50% more and had to change rooms since it was a 3rd party booking, which was a hassle; especially for only a two night stay. Fun place - we plan to return to Yosemite in a less crowded time and will likely book direct.

The hostess for the dining area was super caring and accommodating. She was the best. The view to wake up to was amazing. I love Yosemite in the winter. The prime view king bed room was great, I’ll upgrade next year to a bigger suite because I love the entire vibe of the hotel, the location in the valley, the great customer service, the views, everything… grateful to have this experience and will return.
