Amazing Stay
Komandoo is truly a place for couples seeking ultimate rest and relaxation who value privacy. There were lots of guests during our stay, but everyone maintained the kind of distance and privacy every holidaymaker needed. The staff were polite and friendly but could use more hospitality training. My husband and I had a great time on the island, basking under the heat of the Maldivian sun, and were whisked to a different property for an underwater dinner. Overall, it was a memorable stay; the food was good, and the variety was pretty decent. The restaurant staff were extra nice and accommodating, we love them!

Lovely Honeymoon!
Komandoo is a small private island reserved for adults only. It might not have as many facilities as other bigger resorts, but it certainly has its charm and personal touch. We found a good deal on Agoda for the period of June, which is off-peak due to the imminent monsoon season, but it barely rained and was in fact quite sunny for the most part. We saw fishes, sharks and rays in the waters behind our villa, and also many other fishes when we snorkeled at the house reefs. Tip: if you enjoy snorkeling, try the waters around the jetty just beyond Aqua restaurant. You'd be surprised by what you find there!

A dream stay...
Not much to say except that everything is magnificent. The welcome, the friendliness of the staff, the food (very wide choice, varied and excellent), the very cosy bungalow with a Maldivian bathroom, the upkeep and cleanliness of the island, the snorkelling, the massages, the peace and quiet, the very good cocktails (a little expensive à la carte between $16 and $18) but still 2 or 3 different suggestions every day for less than $10. In short, an idyllic holiday that we're looking forward to repeating.

Amazing Place for Couples
This was our second time in the Maldives and this island was amazing. Perfect relaxation as its Adults Only and only a small amount of accommodation available. You rarely see other guests unless you are eating at the buffet. Staff are amazing and very helpful. We will definately be back!
