We had an amazing stay at Shiv Kothi Homestay, and a huge part of that was because of Vivek. As first-time visitors to Varanasi, we were a little overwhelmed and aware that it’s easy for pilgrims to get misled or overcharged. Vivek made our entire trip stress-free with his honesty, kindness, and genuine willingness to help. He woke up early in the morning to guide us on the best route for our Mangala Aarti and Kashi Vishwanath darshan, arranged a trustworthy boat ride on the Ganga, recommended the best places to visit, and was always available whenever we had questions. His local knowledge and honest advice helped us avoid unnecessary hassle and enjoy our pilgrimage with peace of mind. The homestay itself is in an excellent location, within walking distance of Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Manikarnika Ghat, Dashashwamedh Ghat, and the major attractions of the old city. It was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a spiritual visit to Kashi. If you’re visiting Varanasi for the first time, I highly recommend staying here. Vivek is a wonderful host who truly cares about his guests and goes above and beyond to make their stay memorable. We would happily stay here again and will definitely recommend Shiv Kothi Homestay to our friends and family visiting Varanasi.
