I was traveling with two groups. The hotel is situated amidst Indian and Pakistani restaurants; some serve halal food, which was certainly a huge plus! Most of these restaurants offer delicious, authentic Indian dishes with generous portions. The atmosphere felt like being in an Indian neighborhood. There were still plenty of people around even late at night; I felt safe, though I remained mindful of my surroundings. There is public parking one block from the hotel, the guy there was very friendly and nice, they work together with the hotel staff to provide parking space. The hotel was very clean and smelled pleasant. Room amenities included a microwave and air conditioning that was cold and worked well; however, there are a few things the hotel should improve: 1. The AC was a bit noisy at night. 2. The pillows were too small; providing more pillows in the room would be better. 3. There was no fridge or mini-fridge. 4. There were no coffee or tea-machine facilities in the room. Definitely I will go back stay at the Haiban Hotel. I recommend this Hotel for Small group or Small Family Travellers.
