Smells like cigarette, pictures look way better than the actual room

The cocroaches around the mini bar and inside the fridge. The bath towel are too old and disgusting. Not really recommended to stay on that hotel the service are low class.

Date of visit: June 17-18, 2026 Lobby smells really bad. My daughter and I felt our noses were assaulted. It looks as it is photos BUT lighting could be improved, especially at night. It looked sad and smelled bad. It soured the experience from the get go. The receptionist who checked my daughter was green on the job and needed more training. We dealt with three different receptionist during the entire stay. First room they gave us had a great view. That’s the best thing about it. Like the lobby, it smelled bad and had a broken aircon. I told my daughter to request for a new room. The second rom was okay. Daughter liked it better. Sheets were better too though they did not smell like they were fresh. They did not smell bad; just not like they came fresh from the laundry. I don’t mind them looking none too fresh but we’re particular with the smell. Oh, one of the sheets had a stain that looked like blood that has been washed but did not come off. However, the shower head was broken. The bedside lamp shade cast an eerie glow because half the shade was torn up. These things we pointed out to the general manager, Ms Lou, when we requested for a refund so w: can check in somewhere else. Manager Lou convince us to stay and offered us a “suite.” I was set on checking out but since I haven’t had slept in 36 hours and she was so caring and apologetic, we checked out the suite. Thankfully, this was better than the first two. Aircon was working, bathrooms were clean, shower heads were working. We transferred and I fell asleep right away. Two hours after, I woke up for the night shift. We then noticed a couple of things: there were no towels and the trash of the previous guest was still at the cabinet under the sink. It had pizza boxes, beer cans etc. Not a big deal since it did not smell but it was indicative of a massive cleanliness issue in this hotel. There was no intercom BUT they provided a mobile number to call for concerns/requests. Sadly, we tried calling that number several times and no one answered. So around midnight, I had to go down to the lobby and request bath towels. I also told them about the trash. Manager Lou was the only bright spot in this hotel. She was sweet and I truly felt that she cared about our comfort as guests. I wish I have more good things to say. But really, the hotel has that run down feel. Bad smell, stained sheets and torn curtains reflect the need for a big improvement.

Had to get a place near the office as I was unable to go home due to flooded roads. But I had to call multiple times the front desk as internet WiFi is undetectable onset but was replaced yet it limits you for only 30-minutes with slow connectivity. Then, the toiletries and paper slippers were not available unless you asked for it. The room hard phone was kept under the TV cabinet. The bedsheet was dirty as seen before I went to sleep. The toilet bowl and bath tub were also dirty as stains were evident. One of the dining set chair has a broken left front leg that almost had me an accident while I ate my dinner. No microwave available but electric keetle was available with no coffee, cream and sugar sachets. On the other hand, I thank the frontdesk, the IT guy and housekeeping for the immediate response on my requests.
