Our best stay in Sohar so far
We were warmly greeted by the local staff at Crowne Plaza as we drove in. The hotel looked worse for wear from the outside but don't let it fool you: the interiors were nothing short of spectacular. Check in was smooth. The rooms were nice and cozy. We got the pool view. The bathrooms were spotless and the beds were a dream. We even got a complimentary fruit platter delivered The hotel's is located a little far from town but within 20 mins we could get where we wanted to go. The staff even suggested restaurants and tourist spots. The next morning was breakfast time. Food was great: the usual continental stuff plus some local favorites like hummus and foul. The honeycomb was delicious too. Plenty to go around here. Overall we got a good night's sleep, some very warm friends, and a place to do definitely call home again if we go to Sohar next time
