The place is nice as compared with nearby accommodations however it gives a more homey vibe with a relaxed and chill atmosphere. Downside is that, complementary accommodation toiletries were not provided on our stay.

The hotel’s facilities — including the infinity pool, beautifully decorated lobby, and garden — are among the best you’ll find in Port Barton. The rooms were decent but could benefit from some upgrades and renovations to better match the price, particularly in terms of bed quality. We also experienced a few issues with the hot water, internet connection, and insects in the room, though the staff did their best to assist us. The buffet breakfast could be improved as well by offering more variety and ensuring quicker refills.

We had a comfortable stay at Holiday Suites and would definitely recommend it as one of the best places to stay in Port Barton. We visited during the off-season, when it rained almost every day. The road leading to the hotel was still under construction, making it very muddy and difficult to access, even by car. There was also an ongoing power crisis that caused scheduled 8-hour brownouts in the area. Thankfully, the hotel has a generator, so guests only experienced about an hour without electricity each day while the generator rested. Our friends staying at another accommodation had to endure the full 8-hour outage, so we really appreciated this. Breakfast was included in our booking. Since it was the off-season, there was no buffet except on weekends, but the plated breakfast was still good, especially the tocino. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, especially the guy on the night shift. I experienced acid reflux one evening, and despite having limited medical supplies available, he went out of his way to assist me, which I truly appreciated. The only downside was the water heater in our room. It worked inconsistently, and although we reported it, the issue wasn’t resolved during our stay. We were advised to turn on the sink faucet at the same time to improve the water pressure, which wasn’t the most practical or eco-friendly solution. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. Despite a few minor issues that were largely beyond the hotel’s control, Holiday Suites provided great service and was an excellent place to stay in Port Barton.

It was a lovely stay BUT we did come home one day after being out all day to find house keeping had failed to close the door on our room. Other than that all was great.
