Not convenient if you don't have a car and with small children
The staff were all kind, polite, and accommodating throughout our stay. One of the best parts of this property is the breathtaking view of Taal from the room, it was definitely the highlight of our trip. The room itself was also spacious. However, there are a few areas that need improvement. If you don’t have your own car, getting transportation can be inconvenient since you have to walk outside the main gate to hail a ride. It would also be much better if there were a covered walkway or some shade along the path, especially during hot weather. The biggest concern was cleanliness. The linens and towels had an unpleasant odor, similar to saliva, which made them feel less fresh. The bed only had flat sheets as covers, so they easily came off with even slight movement. Unfortunately, the mattress also didn’t seem very clean and felt like it hadn’t been deep-cleaned in a long time. The bathroom had a noticeable smell, and the toilet had a weak flush that seemed like it could clog at any time. Overall, the property has great potential because of its amazing view, spacious rooms, and friendly staff, but improving cleanliness and maintaining the bathroom facilities would make the guest experience much better.
