Emerald Queen Hotel & Casino

The hotel room was spacious and clean. The restaurant and deli both offer good food at a reasonable price. All staff throughout the entire complex are friendly and helpful. There's a huge variety of slot machines and I found the odds of winning or losing are much the same as any casino I've played. On some machines I won, and on others I lost. In the end I did come out ahead. Overall it was a very enjoyable overnight stay, and I will definitely go back.

They don’t tell you it’s a $200 deposit until you get there.

The room was EXCELLENT. In most cases I would rate this a 5 star, but two things keep me from doing so. 1. Signage to best location to arrive to. All signage is for EQC Casino & Hotel, with several entrances. But only one entrance is best for the hotel, but they do not indicate where that is... We had to drive around to find it. If you are using this because you are first and foremost a casino guest, probably not a problem, but if like us, looking for a good place for the night, not worth the hassle. 2. Unlike other casino hotels, the check in desk is buried inside the casino. You must walk through smoke filled areas of the casino to get to the check in. AND every time you enter you must present your ID to be scanned. Come in to check in... scanned. Go back and get luggage and come back in.... scanned. Need to get something else out of the car... scanned again. Other such casino hotels do not require you to go through the casino to get to the hotel. 3. Parking. Most places make guests first. Owners and staff are relagated to the back parking. Not here. Tribal council members have first crack at the best parking, and there is no reserved parking for hotel guests.

I decided to get a room at the last minute by just walking into the hotel. I saved almost $*** dollars for one night by booking on agoda vs paying the counter price.

Room was very clean. If you have kids it’s best to enter from the west side. Entry from the parking garage side you must walk through smoking side of casino. Kids loved the pool and jacuzzi and rooms were very clean.
