I had to attend classes in Swindon and Chiseldon house was the closest to my venue. I'm glad I made the choice as I had very good service and the food was great. I liked the quaint look of the hotel too and the lovely trees around in the grounds

Quaint hotel with good food

It did the job
Positives, it was a good price for the room, the staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was simple but adequate and a good quality. The hotel is clean but a little dated, couple of negatives for me was the bed was like concrete, I like a hard bed but it was very hard, I slept ok (ish) but if you like a soft bed you may struggle. I ate breakfast there and was good but the evening meal looked expensive and got a really nice 2 course meal plus a beer in a local pub 3 minutes away for less than their 2-course meal.

Absolutely lovely place to stay, dog friendly. The staff are so accommodating and the food is beautiful. Rooms are extremely spacious, we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day break.

Rooms were clean and cosy. The staff were really friendly. The food was excellent
