Lilla Waterfall Retreat @ Sg Lembing, Kuantan

location is good but there is a birdhouse in front and very noisy from 7am - 9pm.. not recommend for people looking for a quiet place.

Fun place to live at, there's karaoke facility and bbq can be arranged. Location is good and there's also a pool to dip in during the day when the weather is hot. It's relatively new(er) than other places of accommodation around the vicinity, albeit slightly pricier relative to older ones but totally worth it.

Stayed here for 2 nights as we explored Sungai Lembing. The hotel is constructed on the side of a hill and split up into several buildings. We got a four person room at the villa part. Room cleanliness is ok although I wished they would wipe the mosquito bloodstain from the wall from previous guests. Shower water pressure on the weaker side so have to be patient. Road leading into the hotel is a narrow one car lane but it is only 300m so if you are driving a monstrosity pray that you make it through without meeting something equally large - but there's hardly anyone living there so traffic will only be the other hotel guests driving something similar.

Our 1st trip to east coast and 1st night here. We stayed several hotel different night. We were early to check in. Very quiet. As the evening approach, the rooms are full. You see kids at the pool, adult KaraOK, BBQ, dart or pool table. SUPER value for money. Despite no food provided, the little Sg. Lembing town is convenient and near. The hotel also provide vending machine in case you thirsty or hungry at night. Room is small but who cares... the con is no tooth brush provided. Is also near to the cemetary. Be sure to bring yours. We missed the small hike in early hours and food. It's beyond my expectation for the famous noodle, tofu and beancurd. It's also Muslim friendly as there is Halal food and Malay within the community. It made me miss my far hometown in Borneo. Just drive careful and slowly as the road is narrow.

Our experience at Lilla Waterfall Retreat was quite disappointing, especially during check-in. The Agoda listing mentioned express check-in/out, and the official check-in time was 2:30 PM. However, we only received our room at around 4:00 PM after a long wait, which was very inconvenient as we were traveling with elderly family members. The front desk staff appeared polite and tried to assist, but they did not seem empowered to resolve the issue. We were repeatedly asked to wait without any clear timeline or explanation. When we asked how much longer it would take, they were unable to provide an answer. What was more disappointing was the lack of service recovery—there was no proper explanation, no compensation, no late check-out offer, no discount, no upgrade, and no immediate prioritization given to our situation, just letting us to sit and wait. :) Overall, the delay and lack of proper handling significantly affected our stay experience. Improvements in process and customer service are strongly needed.
