Crown Hotel Wetheral

Location close to M6, lovely pool, sauna and steam room. Excellent room and drinks reasonably priced for the standard of the hotel. One piece of advice is to eat in the bar as the conservatory restaurant menu is all style over substance - we were very disappointed at the standard of the food and service was very slow. I'm certain I'd looked at the menu months ago when I booked but the menu on the evening we stayed was very different and main course didn't have anything I fancied - I asked if I could have something from the main menu on the bar menu ans was told no - charge me £5 more or something but it's ludicrous to simply refuse. The staff were all very friendly and very pleasant but we will know better for our next stay.

Hidden Gem in nice village leisure facilities excellent & breakfast good value

Lovely hotel in a lovely village, stayed for one night plan on going back in the summer for a weekend, standard room spacious and perfect for a short stay, staff very friendly and helpful

Great hotel round corner from rail station,and end of road for shop/cafe.Staff at hotel very friendly, polite and professional. Food great.Windows that open!!

Crown Hotel Wetheral is a lovely hotel with great facilities and clean throughout & modern stylish decor. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is an added bonus and highly recommended for a stay; 10 out of 10
