Hotel Sonar Bangla Sundarbans

Rooms are nice and clean but some lights were not working. The staff were friendly. Food was nice. It's a bumpy ride on an electric autorikshaw from the boat jetty to the property. All the rooms have views of the property alone, eg. pool view or garden view. Can't see the jungle or the Bay of Bengal from the property. Boat ride was interesting.

Comfortable and well managed stay at Sonar bangla Sundarban. Quite a cosy stay.Look forward to visit again.

**Hotel Sonar Bangla Sunderban Review** I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Sonar Bangla in Sunderban, and it was truly an enjoyable experience. The quality of the rooms, cleanliness, and overall organization were excellent. The suites, in particular, stood out for their spaciousness, offering a comfortable living room and bedroom, as well as a large bathroom equipped with both a shower and a bathtub. The food served at the hotel was delicious, and the breakfast spread was equally satisfying. One of the highlights of the stay was the evening sunset ferry ride, which provided a serene and picturesque way to end the day. The staff was incredibly caring and helpful, always ensuring that guests were comfortable. However, there was a slight issue with the clarity of payments and charges. During check-in, the details about the charges were not clearly communicated, which led to some confusion during check-out. I would suggest that the reception and management focus on providing clearer information about charges at the time of check-in to avoid such issues. Overall, Hotel Sonar Bangla Sunderban is a fantastic place to stay for a couple of days, offering comfort, great food, and memorable experiences. Despite the minor inconvenience, I would still rate the experience five stars! Highly recommended.

We had a nice stay , the food was good and the ambience was pleasurable. However , we found it to be lacking in basic medical facilities. My old mother fell down in the lawn and injured her kneecaps , and they could not provide basic items like any medicine or pain spray . Even a wheelchair was not there , in such a huge property which had golf carts, personal swimming pools, hammocks and what not.

Property is clean good well maintained. Good hospitality and staff but they were not clear about how to reach there and about the fare. They don’t have their own parking which is kind of strange and you have to pay for the parking which they didn’t mention until we were about to exit the parking lot It was not expected from such property who is charging you quite good that they can facilitate their own parking
