Motel 6 Bakersfield, CA - Airport

It's a great value if you get a good room, make sure to be picky and have standards...rooms on the back side are not habitable so if you get a room that is unacceptable for any reason like roaches, missing furniture and mirrors, faulty plumbing, etc. .. just go back to office and demand an acceptable room. There are smart TV's in rooms, free wifi, onsite laundry facilities, pool, pets allowed, soda vending machine and ice machine, pool, gated complex with security, on site parking. Immediate are is bad but right in front of motel is shopping center with a varety of stores and restaurants and a Starbucks. The price is so low so it's a good value!

It's one of the cheapest priced hotels in Bakersfield which is great. Many of the rooms are good, clean and comfortable. Dont let them give you a room on the back side...those rooms are disgusting....roaches, missing furniture and mirrors, faulty plumbing, holy sheets, etc... But many of the other rooms are perfectly acceptable for a short stay. There is wifi, onsite laundry facilities, soda vending machine that is full about 2/3rds of the time, pool that's open 1/2 of the time, pets allowed, gated complex and the staff is pretty cool. The area is not great, there's a lot of homelessness, drugs and illegal activity around the hotel but if you stay in your room you're fine and there is a shopping center right infront of the motel that has a dollar tree, ROSS, pizza place, Mexican restaurant, smoke shops, laundromat, phone store, Starbucks, and several fast food restaurants, nail place, smoothie/donut shop, etc... So it's acya pretty good deal for the amount of money you pay.

This motel 6 is a decent price without the deposit and the rooms are very nice. Location isn't ideal without a vehicle. Sketchy/drug addicts in area.
