Motel 6 Carpinteria, CA - Santa Barbara - North

For the location, the price was great. Very close to Santa Barbara. Had a laundry, which was appreciated. The staff were very friendly. However, our room smelt like urine. Everyone in our family of four could smell it, to the point of nausea. Don't know if it was the bedspreads/mattress/curtain.... It also had a strong cleaning chemical smell, but it didn't cover it. We arrived late so couldn't request to change, but we told reception in the morning. They said they would deal with it. Room 136. Avoid. Maybe the other rooms are fine.

The hotel is rather dated and sits right along side the 101 freeway, so traffic noise is an issue. However the hotel is clean and comfortable and reasonably priced for the area.

I was very impressed by the nice smell of the room. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom is large. It’s barely renovated but still has new paint in new floors. I did get it mixed up with a nicer one that is I believe down the road. But for one night well on a Medical trip it was fine.

Very close to the freeway. My room was way in the back away from the hwy which was helpful. On the 3rd floor. No elevators. Heater extremely loud. Barely slept. Prefer more covers - very thin blanket. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

酒店在公路旁边，隔音效果差，难以入睡。
