This hostel is excellent, with a prime location. Just a 15-minute walk from the city center of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, it's close to the Meridiano shopping center and Lidl supermarket. Most importantly, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the environment is clean and tidy. The bunk bed is very comfortable.

The hostel has zero vibe: no social events, no music, no atmosphere. The photos suggesting community and togetherness feel misleading. While the staff are friendly, that’s one of the few positives. The location is also a downside — it’s away from the city center, so you need a fairly long walk just to reach anything of interest. Bedrooms miss basic hostel standards: no individual bed lights, and poorly designed bunks where you can’t sit up on the lower bed without hitting your head. Bathrooms are uncomfortable and poorly maintained. There are no bins under sinks, so trash ends up on them. The sinks are confusing and unlabeled — one guest thought they were broken and used the kitchen sink instead. There are no hand towels, broken fixtures and locks left unfixed for days, and poor shower drainage that regularly floods the floor outside the showers, creating a safety issue. Kitchen is frustrating to use: no hot water, worn-out cooking pans, and a lack of basic supplies (even tea or sugar) despite containers being there. Storage is limited and impractical. There are far better hostels in Tenerife. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.
