Overall, my stay was average. The room was decent, and the beddings were clean and neat. The bathroom was also clean, and the shower worked well. However, the Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, which caused problems during my Zoom meeting. Fortunately, I had a mobile hotspot as a backup. I also noticed that the cabinet under the sink was broken and could use some maintenance. The biggest concern was a security incident that happened around 11:00 PM. Someone repeatedly tried to unlock and open my room using the smart lock. Since I wasn't expecting any visitors and there was no peephole on the door or room phone to contact the front desk, it was a very frightening experience. After the second attempt, I heard a male voice outside but couldn't clearly understand what was being said. I hesitated to open the door, but eventually did. It turned out to be a security guard with two guests who apologized and explained that they had mistakenly tried to enter my room. The next morning, I asked the receptionist about what happened. They confirmed there was no receptionist on duty after 6:00 PM, so no one had informed me that a guard might be assisting guests. While I understand it was a mistake, it was concerning that they attempted to unlock the room with a key card before even knocking or verifying whether the room was occupied. This created a very unsettling situation. If I had been asleep, in an important meeting, or if the people had not actually been hotel staff, the situation could have been much worse. I recommend improving the hotel's security procedures by ensuring staff knock and announce themselves before attempting to unlock an occupied room, informing guests of any after-hours procedures, and providing an easy way for guests to contact reception from their rooms. These changes would help guests feel much safer.

Where do I start We arrived check in pay 2000 for deposit but they said I didn’t pay it I ask to speak to the manager but she was too busy so I asked for a meeting 3pm next day but no show before all that when we arrived from Australia I went to have a shower COLD so staff moved us to a smaller room but we complained about size of bed so staff upgraded us at our expense still no manager she could have solved everything it just kept getting worse went down to have breakfast at7-am still locked up went back at 8.15 am still closed so staff suggested room service but no bacon no ham only sausage and egg when we checked out after four nights NEVER TO RETURN. Staff were great manager VERY POOR DIDNT KNOCK ON OUR DOOR ONCE TO TRY TO FIX THE PROBLEM WITH ACCOMMODATION Alan McIntyre
