We only stayed here for one night, and overall the experience had both clear positives and serious negatives. First, the hotel itself is beautiful and very close to nature. The surroundings are full of greenery, peaceful, and relaxing. There are many gardens around the property, and cycling in the area is a really enjoyable experience that I would recommend. However, we encountered a serious issue at the spa. A male massage therapist created an unsafe and uncomfortable experience for my wife, which forced her to stop the session midway. This is completely unacceptable. What was even more disappointing was how the situation was handled. When I reported this to the front desk at check-out, the response I received was that the staff member is blind, as if that explained the situation. We had already taken a full night to think carefully before raising this concern, because we understand how serious it is. However, up to now, my wife has not received any apology from the hotel. I hope the hotel will seriously review its staff training and management processes, especially for sensitive services like spa treatments, to ensure guest safety and respect in the future.

Good points: clean swimming pool, green paloma gardens, beautiful river walks. Not so good: food, no air con in restaurant so it was so hot, while we cannot order room services. Going out for lunch in a hot day is also not convenient as it is a bit far from centre.

Adorable little cabins in a garden. Rooms are spacious and feel luxurious. Our bathroom floors were a little slippery (beautiful tile!) And the restaurant food was sufficient though not particularly worth raving about- about what you'd expect for this type of accommodation (they do have a staffed egg station for breakfast which was lovely). All the points for staff, they were incredibly helpful, called us so many taxis and helped us book an awesome DMZ tour

The place is lovely, in a beautiful pomelo garden. It could have been so peaceful without the cleaning staff shouting and slamming doors at 8am. We couldn’t rest properly. They also didn’t clean our room when we left around noon, and we had to ask for water refill - when you arrive they give 2 complimentary refillable water bottles, then they send you plastic bottles… “ecolodge” is a bit of an overstatement. There were never enough towels at the swimming pool, guests had to bring their bathroom towels and again, we had to request for new ones in the room. Food is not memorable. Our room was nice and clean, we had our own motorbike so the remote location was not a problem, we wanted a quiet stay away from touristy areas. We didn’t stay long enough to try the massage. All the staff speaks English.

I went in Jan 2023, where most of the times HUE was soaked by its monsoon season. It was very cold and rainy most of the time. So I couldnt enjoy the property facilities much. However, the room was spacious and bath area was amazining too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED during non-monsoon seasons.
