We recently stayed at Klov Resort and Spa in Thirunelly, and overall it was a mixed experience. The biggest advantage of this place is definitely its location. If you’re visiting the Thirunelly Mahavishnu Temple, it’s very convenient since the temple is quite close by. That made our visit a lot easier and less tiring. However, if you’re planning a wildlife safari from the Nanachi gate, keep in mind that it’s about an hour’s drive from the resort. For early morning safaris, you’ll need to plan your timing carefully. The property itself is quite large and has a nice, open feel to it. But honestly, the amenities didn’t really live up to what you’d expect from a resort. The room size was decent—fine for a short, overnight stay—but nothing particularly impressive. One thing that stood out (not in a good way) was the bathroom layout. The toilet and bath areas are separate, and the washbasin is placed outside, which turned out to be a bit inconvenient during the stay. Food was okay overall. The buffet dinner had limited choices, and while the dishes were decent, the taste could definitely be better. That said, the desserts were surprisingly good—both options served that night were quite enjoyable. Overall, it’s a decent place if you’re staying for a short trip mainly to visit the temple, but there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of amenities and dining experience.

The was good with scenic beauty and greenery . Can recommend for the very one with family

Booked room on a weekday got a good deal in Agoda. Weather was really good in the month of June a bit of rain here and there. With this awesome weather Klov was perfect with lots and lots and lots of greenary inside and around the property. Food was excellent Rooms was excellent too Staffs were very courteous and always had a smile of their face. Not to miss, the best part was river flowing just next to the property is awesome for kids and the water flow is just soothing to ears. Areas of improvement 1 during the tea time all snacks provided were sweetish, one spicy dish like pakoda/bajji would have been great as the weather was clill 2 no morning coffee/tea before 8am were provided. Provided only during bf time. Early morning coffee tea after a short walk will be relaxing. 3 flush was not working in room 301 and once you lock toilet door from inside you will be not able to open it. Someone from outside has to open it..complained to reception hope they took care of it

Overall a comfortable stay. Close to river & one can enjoy around the river during the day time. Not much to do inside the resort. Pool is functional & good but we didn't use it. Parking space is limited & cramped up. They do have a golf cart to take you up to the rooms and restaurant which is a nice little touch. Pathways are slippery in the rains so be cautious. They have indoor games, and conduct cultural events on some days. Rooms are very spacious & we got excellent sleep on those beds. Overall I would recommend this resort to anyone planning to visit this area of Wayanad.

Very close to Thirunelli temple, clean, friendly staff. Scope for activities in the resort and food quality can improve a little
