We recently stayed at Klov Resort and Spa in Thirunelly, and overall it was a mixed experience. The biggest advantage of this place is definitely its location. If you’re visiting the Thirunelly Mahavishnu Temple, it’s very convenient since the temple is quite close by. That made our visit a lot easier and less tiring. However, if you’re planning a wildlife safari from the Nanachi gate, keep in mind that it’s about an hour’s drive from the resort. For early morning safaris, you’ll need to plan your timing carefully. The property itself is quite large and has a nice, open feel to it. But honestly, the amenities didn’t really live up to what you’d expect from a resort. The room size was decent—fine for a short, overnight stay—but nothing particularly impressive. One thing that stood out (not in a good way) was the bathroom layout. The toilet and bath areas are separate, and the washbasin is placed outside, which turned out to be a bit inconvenient during the stay. Food was okay overall. The buffet dinner had limited choices, and while the dishes were decent, the taste could definitely be better. That said, the desserts were surprisingly good—both options served that night were quite enjoyable. Overall, it’s a decent place if you’re staying for a short trip mainly to visit the temple, but there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of amenities and dining experience.

Pros: Situated in a great place, Kalindi river just passing next to resort which is mesmerizing to see. Recreation activities, food and staff is good. Cons: Room floor cleanliness should have been better Toilets very congested

We had a satisfactory stay overall, but room comfort could be improved. Because there is no AC, we found it hard to sleep—the quilts made us too hot, but we felt cold without them. Providing lighter blankets as an option would help. We also felt the food taste was average.

Very close to Thirunelli temple, clean, friendly staff. Scope for activities in the resort and food quality can improve a little

The riverside was very calm to sit. The property gave us oppurtunity enjoy the water in both river and the swimming pool.. The staffs were friendly. Even though they had specific timings for the food, they extended the timings to accomodate the visitors.
