The Waterfront Lodges

Very modern room. Some really nice touches. Excellent veranda for out side space with table and chairs. Very clean and good comfy bed. Pillows were not to my liking though. Has everything I needed for a 1 night stay. Microwave, fridge, large smart tv, ironing board, hairdryer, kettle, milk coffee and tea. They even provided a standalone aircon unit. It is not a hotel as such reception closes at 6pm till 10am next morning. There was even a small animal farm including goats ostrich and a couple of llamas. Strange place but accomadation was really good and well worth a visit if you a re looking for somewhere to stay. Maybe a mile or so from Bedworth

Very relaxing and scenic place to stay overlooking the lake with ducks and geese swimming nearby.The rooms are well equipped. Would use this place again if staying in the area.

It was so quiet at the Waterfront Lodges, it was as though I was the only person there. The bed was so comfortable, I slept really well! Great size TVs in bedroom and lounge. Lots of mirrors (which hotels often lack), and plenty of tea & coffee provisions. However the property did feel a bit tired in places, and I didn't have any windows looking outside of my lodge, which was a shame seeing as it was in the middle of nice countryside. It was a bit cold at night, so I could have done with an available blanket. I may stay again, if I feel in need of total peace & quiet.

Room next door playing loud music until 3am and being aggressive and abusive when asked to turn it down. We had to leave the property in the middle of the night for our safety as there were no staff on site to deal with the situation. The staff when informed about what has happened seemed to justify the behaviour as it was the weekend and wouldn't give us a refund. Absolutely shocking and will never stay here again. The place is run down, cupboard doors hanging off, paint marks on curtains,.mould in shower area, dirty decking area and it's like a building site around the property site. I think people need to be aware of the lack of duty of care for the guests regarding this place if something like this happens, and to which the owner told me this happens every weekend!!
