Hotel Dekiling by Eastlynn Collections

We had a wonderful stay here. The location is excellent: only about a 10-minute walk to Leh’s main market, yet in a very quiet area. A nice biker’s café serving proper espresso and cappuccino is just a 4-minute walk away, which was a pleasant bonus. The room was clean and comfortable, and the shower deserves a special mention. It has unlimited hot water with excellent pressure rather than a typical water heater setup. The temperature control is a little enthusiastic, so tiny adjustments make a noticeable difference, but that’s a small price to pay for such a good shower. The staff made our stay exceptional. Everyone was genuinely friendly, attentive and eager to help, including team members who spoke little or no English. Wi-Fi could be improved, as the property would benefit from a few more access points, but the staff kindly moved us to a room with a strong and stable connection, which we really appreciated. As there were only a few guests during our stay, meals were served à la carte instead of as a buffet. The menu wasn’t extensive, but everything we tried was fresh and delicious.
