Omkar Jungle Resort & Spa

Overall, Essentia Resort in Sirsi is a very promising property with excellent potential. The location is fantastic, and the entire resort is incredibly clean and well-maintained. They offer ample parking, and the facilities—specifically the gym and activity center—are in great shape. A special shoutout goes to the chefs and the breakfast service: the morning spread had varied options, and the dining halls were spotless. However, there were a few noticeable drawbacks during our stay. While the breakfast was great, the restaurant's lunch/dinner menu had very limited options, and unfortunately, many of the dishes we tried to order were unavailable. Room service was also quite slow. Additionally, it's worth noting that the swimming pool and spa facilities are not yet fully functional. Overall, it's a great place to stay for the location and cleanliness, but they need to iron out their restaurant stock and room service speeds to be a true luxury experience.

I visit Sirsi every year, and until now, finding a truly comfortable and high-quality place to stay has always been a challenge. This resort has completely changed that experience for me. It is easily one of the best stays I’ve had—not just in Sirsi, but anywhere. The location is excellent—nestled in the midst of a serene jungle setting, yet just about 12 km from Sirsi, making it very convenient to travel back and forth. The property is newly built, and while a few facilities like the swimming pool are still under construction, it already offers a fantastic stay experience. I had booked a standard room through ***, which was described as a “forest view room.” However, the standard room actually has no window, no balcony, and no view at all. When I brought this discrepancy to the staff’s attention, they acknowledged it honestly and were kind enough to upgrade my room without any hassle. That gesture truly stood out. The food was very good, and the rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with all necessary amenities. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely be coming back next year—hopefully by then, the swimming pool will also be ready!

Very good and comfortable stay near Sirsi. New set up and definitely worth staying. Staff are courteous, will definitely visit next time!

A new resort with all modern facilities. Good for families and for corporate meetings. Tucked in the forest a wonderful stay.
