Tälta Lodge, a Bluebird by Lark

Very nice facilities and general vibes. I’ve been going to Tälta for years. I have noticed a slight decline in the staff attentiveness and they aren’t as friendly as some that have come and gone. It’s nothing major but when you come into the lobby you’ll often see front desk in the back on their phone or distracted. Aside from that and the doors acting up (key cards can disconnect ) the TVs also don’t all have access to the Internet so you can’t stream to them or use most of the smart features. The grounds are gorgeous and the pool/hot tub are really nice. Generally it’s a really make place jsut hope they keep on top of it and it doesn’t go downhill. I’ve always enjoyed going to Talta and other bluebird hotels.

This lodge had a very clean if small room. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. We didn’t use any of the amenities for which the lodge charges resort fees. I didn’t appreciate the resort fees but the place is dog friendly.

Beautiful property, the outdoor was fabulous. We enjoyed the food truck convenience the night we stayed. The staff were very friendly.

Talta Lodge is adorable and a fun fun family experience . I am certain that if we had stayed at a less busy time our experience would have been more in line with the price paid. Front desk and cleaning and outside team is extraordinary — they simply could not keep up . The Stugas are small but adequate. My Deluxe King was …. My sisters was not . The “ rumpus room” and pool were outstanding and fun . We ate our take out and leftovers most nights there ….after a delightful swim . All in all — go and experience Talta Lodge ….. just not during a holiday . Poor lil Stowe cannot handle all the adoring fans they have acquired !!

Everything was great! Check in was easy, room was clean and comfortable, pool, hot tub, and boot room, among other amenities were really great. Would recommend the queen room to any solo traveler or couple.
