I highly recommend visiting the Fireflies Garden and staying at least one night in one of the villas here! I initially booked 2 nights, but I extended for another night because I really loved this place. ​The breakfast is delicious, and each evening they offer a free drink with yummy fried cassava from the garden. It was a fantastic experience enjoying dinner in the dark while spotting fireflies! The entire staff is super friendly. There is also the Mason Elephant Park nearby if you plan to visit during your stay. A special thank you to Yanika and Nata — you are fantastic!

This was my second night here, booked separately because after experiencing this place, one night simply wasn’t enough. One of the things I admire most about The Fire Flies Garden is how much care the family puts into protecting the natural environment. The land is maintained without chemicals, helping to preserve the conditions that allow the fireflies and other wildlife to thrive. The family clearly has a genuine love for nature and animals, and there are several animals living around the property as well. Everything feels incredibly peaceful, natural and alive. The firefly garden itself is especially magical. There are no artificial lights used around the fireflies, allowing them to remain in their natural environment without unnecessary light pollution. In the evening, the restaurant tables are illuminated only by a tiny candle, creating the most beautiful, intimate atmosphere while hundreds of fireflies glow around the garden. It is honestly difficult to describe how special it feels to sit there. The family also runs the restaurant and prepares the food themselves, so you have the opportunity to experience genuine, traditional Indonesian flavours made with great care. Much of the produce comes directly from their own garden. And I have to give a special mention to the **fried cassava — absolutely phenomenal!** The villas are brand new and in immaculate condition: beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, extremely comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and the entire property is maintained with so much care. But once again, what makes this place truly unforgettable is the family. Their kindness and hospitality are genuine and effortless. They make you feel welcomed into their home rather than simply accommodated as a tourist. There is such warmth in the way they share their home, food, culture and knowledge of the surrounding nature with their guests. It is rare to find somewhere that combines beautiful accommodation, incredible nature, authentic local culture and such heartfelt hospitality. The Fire Flies Garden is unbelievably peaceful and truly one of those places that stays with you long after you leave. Thank you again to Yunika and the entire family for making my stay so special. I feel incredibly lucky to have found this place.

Absolutely magical stay — one of the most special places I have experienced in Bali. The villa is beautiful, completely new, extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The entire property is huge, peaceful and surrounded by nature, with plenty to explore. There is even a trekking path leading down through the valley to the river. What makes this place truly exceptional, however, is the family behind it. It is run by a wonderful Balinese family, and Yunika is incredibly kind and helpful with absolutely everything. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. You really feel special here, not like just another guest. I had everything I could possibly need — and I even ended up buying some lovely new clothes from Yunika’s shop. The surrounding area is also beautiful and absolutely worth exploring. You can simply walk outside and experience a real Balinese village, while within around 30 minutes by scooter there are plenty of activities and places to visit. But honestly, even if you do not feel like going anywhere, there is more than enough to enjoy within the garden itself. The property is full of fruit, vegetables and plants, many of which are used to prepare the food served here. Everything feels incredibly authentic and connected to the surrounding nature. And then there are the fireflies. Hundreds of them fly through the garden after dark. It is absolutely magical. You can also learn about them and the conservation work here, and the family is happy to explain so much about their life cycle and habitat. It was easily one of the highlights of my entire Bali trip. I knew within my first hour that I did not want to leave, so I immediately extended my stay for another night. I genuinely cannot say enough good things about this place. Thank you again to Yunika and her family for such an unforgettable experience. I would return without hesitation.
