Wifi is provided but the resort has no strong internet signal that you can really detached from the world of internet and thats fine with me. The kubo is wonderful and the beach too! Staffs are incredible! We had a great stay.

Kalipay sa baybay has a serene vibes and great place if you want to relax. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and very helpful, making the check-in process quick and smooth. The atmosphere of the resort is relaxing and perfect for anyone who wants to unwind and enjoy a peaceful getaway. The food and drinks were also good, and the service from the staff was excellent. They were attentive and always made sure guests were comfortable during our stay. The only small issue we experienced was regarding the breakfast. On the Agoda app, it was listed under the amenities that breakfast was free, but when we arrived, we were informed that breakfast was not included in our booked package. It would be helpful if this information was clarified on the app to avoid confusion for future guests. Overall, we still had a great stay and would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Our stay at Kalipay sa Baybay was absolutely wonderful. The resort lives up to its name it truly is a peaceful and happy escape from the busy city. The beachfront is gorgeous, with clear water and fine sand that make it perfect for relaxing, swimming, or just lounging by the shore. The rooms and villas are clean, cozy, and beautifully designed to blend in with the natural surroundings. We loved the serene, private atmosphere of the property, which makes it an ideal spot for families or couples looking to unwind. The staff were also very warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay. If you are looking for a beautiful, uncrowded beach destination in Samal where you can genuinely relax, this place is highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

The resort offers a relaxing “hayahay” vibes. You can simply dine in facing the beach. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The kubo we stayed in with my sister is good enough. Just a few constructive feedback: 1) The towels are old and there’s white fabric particles. Extra towel is chargeable. Ours was just waived coz we’re staying for several nights. 2) Unable to adjust the aircon temperature. It gets too cold later on. You gotta wake up to turn it off. 3) Related to pt2, the blanket is extremely thin! It’s just a piece of white cloth 😁 4) Best to bring mosquito repellent 5) wifi coverage is unstable (guess it’s a sign for guests to totally unplugged) Good location if you are driving. If you’re a commuter from Davao City, it’s farther from the Kaputian town area. From Davao, it’s recommended to take the bus from Agdao. Bus will cross via ferry (Roro), no need to alight. It goes straight to Kaputian. From Kaputian terminal, you have to take the bao bao. Overall, it was a pleasant long weekend experience. Thanks for their awesome staff!
