Bluemont Hotel

Excellent room and very tidy and up to date. Unfortunately after booking a suite to have a separate area for my night owl spouse the television did not work in the living area. The fridge had no freezer. The view from the room was nice, but the street noise was overbearing all night and kept us awake. There were constant people running and shouting up and down the halls and the staff seemed oblivious. Dogs are allowed in the facility, and they too joined in the noise of the night. Again, no staff intervention. Finally, breakfast was a disaster. Luke warm at best, no bacon as advertised, no hot water for tea and very limited selection. If you like cold breakfast and coffee, I guess you are set. For the price and billed as the most upscale and finest hotel in Manhattan, it was a disappointment. Everytime we drove by the Holiday Inn we looked at it longingly. We will not go back to the Bluemont unless they get their act together.

Its a good facility, can get loud in the morning as you can hear footsteps from above floor. One complaint i have is they dont offer any complimentary water, you have to go down to the lobby to purchase a bottle. They have vending machines on each floor but no drinks. Overall good stay but could offer more for the money you’d have to pay.

Clean and very large rooms. Not the quietest hotel but a step above much of the local competition. The location to Aggieville and campus cannot be beat.

We had a great stay at the Bluemont Hotel in Manhattan, KS. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful throughout our visit. Everyone we interacted with was welcoming and made the stay easy and enjoyable. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We would definitely stay here again.
