The hotel is absolutely breathtaking. The architecture and interior design are stunning, every area is beautifully maintained, and the views of Es Vedrà are simply unforgettable. Waking up to that scenery alone makes the location feel truly special. The rooms are stylish, thoughtfully designed, and the entire property has a luxurious atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of food and live music that created a wonderful atmosphere to start the day. The luggage staff were also exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the service throughout the rest of the hotel falls far below what you would expect from a luxury property. Throughout our stay, staff repeatedly forgot requests, provided unrealistic updates, and were often difficult to reach. Service around the pool was particularly disappointing. We struggled to get towels despite asking staff, eventually taking some from unused loungers ourselves. It was also extremely difficult to get the attention of waiters, and we had to actively seek staff inside the restaurant just to place an order. Arranging a taxi was another frustrating experience. Overall, this is one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever visited. The design, atmosphere, and spectacular views of Es Vedrà make it a truly special place. Sadly, the service is inconsistent, disorganized, and nowhere near the standard or the price you would expect from a luxury hotel. With service to match the property itself, this hotel could be exceptional.

The hotel is a genuine paradise - staff are very friendly and helpful - the rooms have character and there are only around 40 - salt water pool is amazing - the grounds/gardens are an oasis with a beautiful view of Es Vedra - organised yoga/hiking/musicians etc daily and free for guests - 5-10 min shuttle service (Land Rover defender) to Cala Carbo (small rocky beach with 2 good restaurants), Cala Vedella (larger but lovely sandy beach with a range of restaurants and shops) and Cala d’Hort (rocky with one restaurant) - all have sunbeds with parasols to rent We stayed 5 nights and could have done more. You really do get what you pay for with Petunia. Minor points: - the children’s menu is priced the same as adults and while the portions are as large as, it’s a bit unnecessary when you are paying what you are paying already for everything else. - there seemed to be a couple of days where non-guests could buy day passes and use the pool area which made things a little too busy and not enough sun loungers - maybe 2-4 short but I would say this could be reviewed as guests pay a lot for the privilege which should really be exclusive.
