The people and views and beaches (there are two beaches) are top notch. Very relaxing. I just wish there were a library of board games, maybe some outdoor games (badminton or boules, perhaps) to supplement the relaxation. The WiFi, when in range, was excellent but it did not extend to our room which was on the outside edge of the resort. The Filipino food that is available in the restaurant is excellent, but there are no other restaurants around. We had a motorcycle and it still a long drive to any other food locations, and those are not dependably open. And there are no cocktails—only beer and soft drinks. We loved our experience but it could have been so much better.

Beautiful Place, a Bit Boring
The people and views and beaches (there are two beaches) are top notch. Very relaxing. La Puerta Resort
I wanted to share my feedback following my recent stay at your resort in Nueva Valencia. Overall, I had a good experience! The facilities are okay—even though they seem a bit older, they are still well-maintained and comfortable to use. I was very pleased with the rooms, which were clean and tidy, and the comfort room was impressively big and spacious. What really made our stay special was your team. You have the most friendly and accommodating staff! We felt very well taken care of the entire time we were there. A quick note for future guests or areas of improvement: there is almost no cellular phone signal at the resort. However, you do provide Wi-Fi, which helped us stay connected. Also, I would gently suggest that the kitchen work on making the food a bit more flavorful and delicious. Thank you for taking such good care of us, and keep up the great work!

Had a great time with fam. Nice view and beach. Be prepared to pay for the inhouse food served, a bit pricey. Location is accessible via public transport but if you prefer direct transfer, private vans are available from the port.

location is far from the center but it is the one that makes it peaceful, away from the other tourists. if you want a secluded by the beach vibe, this is good. also, there is no data signal at all. they have wifi but only in the dining area, but other than that, there is no signal at all. so if you want a detox from the internet. this is good for you
