My stay at the Himalayan View homestay was very relaxing and peaceful. It is a good choice for those looking to work remotely while also unwinding and enjoying evening walks around the nearby areas. Located a few steps below the motorable road on the way to Majhkhali, it offers a more natural and tranquil setting. Ashok ji and Anjna ji were very welcoming and always available to help with directions or answer any questions. The evening conversations with them were warm and enjoyable. I also appreciated the fresh, home-cooked meals they prepared. I ended up extending my stay and explored Ranikhet and the surrounding localities at a leisurely pace. Although the mountain peaks were not clearly visible in July, the drifting mist that occasionally enveloped the houses created a beautiful atmosphere and more than made up for it. This place suited my travel style well, as I was travelling light, wasn't in a hurry, and didn't mind walking a short distance to reach the main road. I felt very safe, and there was no unnecessary noise or disturbance. I would suggest the guests to discuss accessibility and their specific requirements with the hosts before booking, as this will help ensure that the property is a good fit for their needs and avoid disappointment on either side. Possible help is ensured by the host. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend it to others.

Parking is not available at this property. Only one car can be parked on the roadside, and after parking, you have to walk down approximately 250 meters to reach the property, which is very difficult to climb, especially for elderly people. Food options are very limited and the quality is not good. The food cost is fixed per person. Also, there are network connectivity issues at the property.
