Countryside Cottage Gulmarg

Countryside Cottage is a very good place to stay in Gulmarg. The rooms were comfortable and the location was peaceful. The owner was very kind and helpful and provided us with good service. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved our stay and the welcoming atmosphere. As two women travelling by ourselves, we felt very safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout our stay.

The floor heating keeps the entire cottage warm and comfortable, even during cold nights — a truly unique and cultural experience. The **food deserves a special mention**. We were served a perfectly home-cooked **Kashmiri-style biryani**, which was absolutely delicious, mouth-watering, and full of flavor. It felt like a homemade meal prepared with love. We both enjoyed it immensely and will remember the taste for a long time. The cottage also has its **own apple orchard**, and we got the chance to taste **different varieties of fresh apples**, which was a delightful experience and added a natural charm to our stay. Overall, this place offers the perfect blend of **Kashmiri culture, comfort, warmth, and nature**.
