Our stay unfortunately did not meet expectations due to several issues related to maintenance and communication. Upon arrival, we experienced difficulty during check-in as the host manager was not very responsive, which left us without proper guidance. We also encountered multiple maintenance concerns, including a non-functioning heater, broken hair dryer, damaged shoe rack, cabinet issues, and a loose door knob. Despite these conditions, a strict ₱1,000 security deposit policy was enforced for potential damages, which felt disproportionate given the state of the facilities. There appeared to be a lack of coordination among the owner, manager, and caretaker, which resulted in confusion and inconvenience throughout our stay. Additionally, there was a misunderstanding regarding our check-out time. We checked out at 11:00 AM, yet it was reportedly communicated otherwise, which delayed the return of our deposit. The heater was not operational during our four-day stay, resulting in cold showers throughout. The swimming pool water was also very cold, and the overall experience was further affected by frequent power interruptions lasting almost two days. These circumstances significantly reduced the comfort and relaxation we had hoped for. We respectfully suggest improvements in maintenance, communication, and guest support to enhance future guests’ experiences. Travelers may also wish to carefully review available options in nearby areas to ensure accommodations align with their expectations and needs.
