The ambiance and views at the hotel were delightful, setting a positive tone for our stay. The staff was nice and helpful, they propose lot of help for activities around the island. The beach in front of the hotel is kept clean unlike the one from hotels around. However, we noticed minor oversights in attention to detail, such as an unprepared pool and unattended plates (like dirty dishes at the beach), which, though small, could enhance the overall experience with a bit more care. Additionally, our enjoyment of the pool was somewhat impacted by the presence of algae on the underwater walls. This, coupled with the surprising discovery of a large lizard skeleton in the common bathroom next to the pool, remained unaddressed throughout our stay, despite staff visits for maintenance. Moreover, we observed stains on the towels and chair in our bedroom, signaling a lapse in the housekeeping standards. This, in conjunction with other minor cleanliness issues, detracted from the overall comfort of our stay. The pricing of certain amenities, like scooters and services, appeared slightly higher than neighboring establishments. While we appreciate the unique charm of Tamu, aligning prices could improve guest satisfaction. On the culinary front, the restaurant offered tasty dishes, but a bit more variety in the menu would have been appreciated. Communication with the staff was warm. Their efforts to make our stay enjoyable were evident and appreciated. In conclusion, our stay at Tamu was generally pleasant, but with a touch more attention to detail, slight adjustments in pricing, a bit more culinary variety, and a focus on cleanliness, the hotel could elevate its guest experience even further.

we stayed at Tamu for 4 days and enjoyed the beautiful beach and location. Pool is small but hotel overall is clean. The food wasn't amazing though which was a little annoying since the island isn't much developed therefore few dining options are available

all round great location and service. let down by poor and overpriced food, likewise at their sister lodge Anaya. eat lunch and dinner elsewhere. $4 each for coconuts fallen off a palm tree by the beach is a piss take.
