SureStay by Best Western Obetz Rickenbacker Airport

We recently lost our home due to the roof collapsing in on us, and have been staying here long term, for the foreseeable future. This is one of the best priced places we have come across, and it's right down the street from my fiances employment. The staff is very nice and always friendly. The only complaint is they never seem to have towels, blankets, or toilet paper. We went without tp for 2 days and it's been 3 days we've been waiting on clean blankets to change the bedding. They are understaffed and the employees they do have work very hard so I know they have a lot going on. The older gentleman that works there should get a raise! He works long hours and seems to be most productive! I do appreciate they allow us privacy and leave us be unless we need something. Of course as long as we are maintaining the room and keeping things tidy, which we prefer to clean ourselves instead of asking for room service. They also have breakfast in the mornings which is a very nice add! I am thankful we found this place and plan on staying until we are able to get on our feet and find a new place to call home.

Room was nice

It was kind a dirty on the parking lot compared to other Quality Inn we have been tried. Check-in process was alright- they asked me get my credit card for deposit. The hallway had some kind of smoke smell. When we open our room door, the room smell like someone who smoke are passing by. The bathroom was not very clean and the water was not draining on the bathtub. TV was old , not even HD. Some lamp won't turn on and was not working. The mattress was too soft for me. I perfer more firm mattress. When we exited our room. There were many people taking furniture. Looks like the inn was selling their old furnitures. No coffee for breakfast, not acceptable. With the price I paid, I prefer more clean and at least provided coffee for breakfast.

Great prices if booking online, the employees are lenient when it comes to being late on next day payment an also they're kind all except this one young lady I believe she might have been the manager. She was NOT professional by any means. She used profanity towards us and her attitude was ignorant an rude.

I was a little skeptical at first when I saw the price. But wow everything was nice and clean and remodeled. Great friendly staff with restaurants close by. Right off the highway. Will be back next trip to Columbus .
