I recently stayed at Amber Kampot for two nights, and my experience was highly disappointing due to the poor noise reduction and overall value. On the first day, I was subjected to loud music from a nearby pagoda, which persisted for hours. That evening, someone started playing rock music at an incredibly high volume, continuing until 3 AM, making it impossible to get any sleep. I hoped for a quieter second day, but at 5 AM, I was woken up by someone blasting local pop music. To make matters worse, that evening there was a concert on the opposite side of the river that went on until midnight. The villa shook with every beat, and it felt like it might fall apart at any moment. Despite my complaints to the staff, nothing was done to address the noise issues. The lack of proper soundproofing and the staff's indifference made my stay extremely unpleasant. Given these significant issues, the hotel was grossly overpriced for the experience it provided. I would not recommend Amber Kampot to anyone looking for a peaceful and restful stay. The excessive noise levels, combined with the poor value for money, made for a miserable experience.

We spent a night during green season. There are a great discount, but still pricy compared to similar resort. The room are nice, but we do not like certain facilities such as lighting and the interior design. As much as we appreciate the stuff put more effort for our special requests and they are very responsive, however, for the level of standard and price, I believe their staff is under trained. From the first interaction to the end, we hope more from standard resort but we hardly experienced that. To be fair, we enjoy more offer and treatment from previous resort we stayed earlier at Kep. Similar size the standard, but cheaper and nicer

We stayed at Amber during the off season when there aren’t many tourists in town and the hotel had almost no other guests. We still were provided with the best service, food and experience. There is no comparable lodging in this area and we highly recommend.

great hospitality

We had spend one night at Amber and expecting alot for it as it consider top resort in Kampot. The result was as expectation as we encountered few quality of hospitality services from staff as its seen like they’re force to service us not so friendly and helpful. Also the staff just stand and watch us loading our own luggage without even coming to help
