Rodrigues Residency

I had a very good stay at Rodrigues Residency at Majorda in mid-Feb 2026. We were a group of 5 people and took the 3 rooms on bottom floor. The Owner Nellie is friendly, the staff is good, rooms were well equipped with TV, Fridge, Microwave, cooking electric element, electric kettle, crockery, cutlery, coffee and sugar satches, hot water in bathroom, clean beds and linen. They have a washing machine on rooftop and iron for common use which is chargeable. We had our own car and parking was easy. There is no lift. No meals provided but there is a coffee shop cum bakery nearby so it was easy. A good Italian restaurant Da Tita is 2 mins walk. The only issue we had was with the wifi in the room. It was slow and sometimes no signal. However, wifi outside the room is strong. You can sit outside your room door and get good signal. Apart from this, our stay was top notch.

We highly recommend this place for staying, especially for those looking for a safe, hygienic, and peaceful environment. They provide facilities for washing, parking, and cooking, making the stay comfortable and convenient.

We had a wonderful stay here — the place is very peaceful and perfect for a relaxing trip. The owner, aunty, is extremely kind, supportive, and helpful, which made our experience even better. The location is excellent — it's very calm and quiet, yet everything is close by. There’s a bus that runs right from the front of the property to Mapusa and Panjim, which is super convenient. You’ll also find a mart nearby and rental scooters easily available. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. We were two girls traveling, but we never felt unsafe at any point — it’s a very safe and comfortable place to stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and homely stay in Goa!

We had a very comfortable stay in the studio room, with all basic necessities provided. It was kept clean and tidy throughout. The host family are lovely, friendly and most welcoming. The location is perfect as it's close to the main areas but still tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood. Overall a great experience, value for money and we would highly recommend staying at this quiet cozy village homestay studio. We would love to come back and stay here again. Thank you for the hospitality.
