Old Cottages

We 5 ppl stayed at the house for two nights. There were 4 single beds plus one sofa bed on ground floor and two single beds upstairs. You have to climb the ladder upstairs to reach the upper floor. There was no curtain upstairs and some of the lights were broken. There were two bathrooms with shower which were quite sufficient for groups. The environment was clean and tidy. Basically it had enough facilities for accommodating us. The area of the open kitchen was a bit small. Overall, it was a bit overpriced.

Need to go to a nearby guesthouse(Gerði) for check-in. I tried to contact beforehand to get the exact details, but didn't get an answer. But the location is nice, and the cottage was quite comfortable.

didn’t receive key box pin until you call the property owner yourself to request. Only voice call is available as the property owner doesn’t use WhatsApp, difficult to reach the owner for overseas travellers who couldn’t make local call. Luckily the travellers staying next door were kind enough to lend us their phone to make the call. There are no water supplies for shower and basins on and off during the next morning of the stay.
