The Blackbuck Trails velavadar

I stayed at Blackbuck Trail for one night and booked two rooms. The rooms are very spacious, and the hospitality was good — staff were polite and helpful. However, the tariff (₹10,000–₹15,000 per night) feels quite high for what is offered. During our stay, it rained, and unfortunately, there were no umbrellas provided per room. Because of the rain, some insects and even frogs entered the room. There are very limited activities inside the resort — just a couple of indoor games and no outdoor options. The swimming pool was clean and well-maintained, which was a plus. Food was average with limited options. Overall, while the property and staff are nice, the high rates are not justified given the limited amenities and facilities.

We reached Blackbuck trails in the afternoon, our package included breakfast and dinner. When we asked if we could order fries alacart for lunch snacks the restaurant wasn't sure. They did whip up some fries and veg sandwich on request. The menu is vast, but actual available Dinner options are very few, plain dal rice paneer etc. We had to request them to please make some fried chicken for us. The Staff needs improvement and training and they need to offer whats on the menu or remove item from the menu that they cannot make. Otherwise it makes for a disappointing experience where you ask for something and they keep saying not available.

Blackbuck Trails Velavadar proved to be a great choice for our visit to the wikd and beautiful south Gujarat countryside. Close to the National Park, the resort ticks all the boxes: pleasant rural surroundings, well architectured and landscaped grounds as the setting for comfortable rooms will all the amenities. Most notable was the exceptional level of service and the food. Am amazing stay!
