Viovio Beach & Resort

The beach is very unique. At low tide one is able to walk almost 100m from shore to see lots of small crabs (it’s a completely new experience). Unfortunately high tide brings in debris and dirt that sticks on the sand at low tide so it helps if it could be cleaned. The facilities are unique given the remoteness of the location. The cafe serves local food which is adequate and priced reasonably. However wifi does not work and there is little if any hot water for shower but a cold shower will also do. The aircon works extremely well though. We upgraded to the Garden Cabana on arrival so we had our own attached toilet.

We actually upgraded to Morelo Water Villa instead, but same location just 10-15 mins walk Viovio Beach. We change as we wanted to have a private toilet plus a more quiet environment. The check in was a disappointment as the room was not ready. We arrived we have to wait for 1.5 hr as the caretaker cleaned the room. What was mentioned at their website was not what you will be expecting when you finally arrive the place. They know we were not happy so the Sales Mgr gave us a complimentary dinner. Few pointers when you book this place: Bring your own wifi as there wifi is very weak. Good for those who wanted a social media fasting. You will have a time to really rest, enjoy the view (hightide) (#lowtide). Bring your own life jacket as what they have over there is already not suitable to use. Bring sunscreen & insect repellant to protect yourself. Bring your own towel (though they provide) Bring boardgames, books, something to do that doesn't require you to use your phone. You will definitely enjoy it as the place is suitable for activities. For the owner of Morelo Water Villa.: Loved the place! But some feedback: *not maintained very well the villa. *not clean a lot of flies. You can't even eat peacefully as you have to keep on using your hand to protect your food. *clearing of plates after people eat was not done ASAP. Normally will take 1-2 hrs before someone clear it. Reasons why there are alot of flies. * need to put fly trap or anything to keep them away. Even the rooms also have flies * suggest to bring your staff for training what are the Sop of maintaining the whole place sanitizer etc. *food selection need to upgrade. This is an advantage as there no nearby restaurant Ms etc. So a good quality clean food will be better. Making sure it's hot and portioned very well. Breakfast inclusion is not consistent. Even the timing for serving the food is not being followed. The place is really incredible natural nature at it's finest! But néed to do a renovation improvement in so many ways. A lot of tourists will definetly book this place! We will be back but hoping for a change! The feedback is for growth. I really believe this place have potential!

Pertama datang, jalannya suram tanjakan masih batu merah untung tidak hujan. Kedua tidak dikasih handuk. AC tidak dingin, tidak ada shampo hanya sabun, sarapan telat sampai jam 9 baru sarapan katanya karena sholat eid (emank pemiliknya gk bisa cari pengganti), sarapan tidak enak dan menunya cuma 1 lauk dan mie aja. Pantainya dari check in sampai check out surut sampai ujung. Tidak ada yg menarik disini.
