Dusit D2 Naseem Resort Jabal Akhdar Oman

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel. It was a family hotel and there wasn't much I could do so I went to Alila and Anantara hotel. Because those expensive hotels were nearby, so it was a great location to see. And the staffs were so nice and good service to me and my husband. Thanks

We recently got back from a mini getaway at DusitD2 Jabal Akhdar, where we had booked two rooms for four adults. Overall, it’s a beautiful property and we had a pleasant stay, though there are a few areas where the experience could be refined further. As you drive up the mountain, the hotel is among the first few properties you encounter, making it easy to find. The entrance is grand and visually impressive, showcasing Omani culture and design beautifully — it truly sets the tone for a luxury mountain retreat. The welcome drinks and warm towels on arrival were a thoughtful touch after the long drive. The check-in process, however, could have been more efficient. Despite everything being prepaid, it took longer than expected — possibly because the staff member assisting us was new. Not a major concern, but quicker processing would have been appreciated after the journey. The resort itself is quite expansive, with over 200 rooms, yet there are only around 8 golf carts operating across the property. This didn’t feel proportionate to the size of the resort. We experienced long wait times whenever we requested a cart. Since we were traveling with older family members, we had to rely on them, though otherwise the property is walkable. On a future visit, we would likely request rooms closer to reception. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings, giving them a cozy yet grand feel. The L-shaped couch was a nice addition, although ours had visible stains that hadn’t been cleaned (we didn’t report it at the time). Apart from that, the room was neat and well maintained. Linens, however, should be more thoroughly cleaned and inspected — especially if the property aims to compete with other premium resorts in the region. One drawback was the lack of views from the room, which meant we barely used the balcony — it felt like underutilized space, though some guests may still enjoy the private sit-out. There was also daytime construction noise from outside the property, directly facing our balcony, which was unexpected and a bit of a nuisance. We tried booking spa services on the day of arrival but couldn’t secure a slot due to staff shortages — possibly because we were looking for a couples’ treatment. In the evenings, we were informed there were no scheduled activities or events on the property. For a hotel positioned in the premium segment, on-site entertainment such as bonfires or live performances would really enhance the guest experience, regardless of seasonality. There was live Omani cultural music, but it was held on the second floor in a tucked-away area. Unless guests happened to dine or have drinks there, they would likely miss it. Given the vast public spaces across the resort, placing musicians in more central areas would allow more guests to experience and enjoy the cultural showcase. Room service is available but priced on the higher side relative to portion sizes and options. While we were told these prices are standard across Jabal Akhdar, premium pricing should ideally be matched by a fully premium experience — which still has some room for improvement. We had requested flower arrangements in advance, which were delivered on time and beautifully set up — though again, at very premium pricing that didn’t entirely feel proportionate. We also opted for breakfast on the morning of checkout. The spread is extensive, covering multiple cuisines, but vegetarian options were quite limited. The vegetarian dishes in the warmers weren’t particularly appealing — we sampled a bit but ended up choosing fresh breads and baked goods instead. There was only one chef handling egg preparations, which led to wait times during busy hours; having two chefs would improve flow. On a positive note, an Omani lady chef preparing fresh Arabic crepes was a wonderful cultural touch. Golf cart service was an issue may b due to rain and full occupancy. Dinner cost mentioned 15 RO per person with 20% discount in website but at restaurant was told 25 RO and only 10% discount

Limited facilities for young children. Also on various occasions, the reception and room service did not respond to our calls. Breakfast can be improved. Other than that, room size were good and looked nice. overall nice stay with young children.

ホテルの設備や清潔さ、朝食のバラエティーや美味しさは5スター！ロケーションは山頂の町地域で近くにはスーパーやちょッしたショッピングができる商業施設あり(でも行ってないので詳細は不明)。ホテルのメインは何と言っても子供のための野外アクティビティやキャンプファイヤーなど。シールズになるとファミリーが押し寄せてくるらしい。私は一人旅で静かに過ごしたいスタイルなのでシールズには絶対に滞在しません。私と同じ趣向の旅人さんは多忙期を十分にチェックのこと。ちなみに4月下旬の平日に２泊しましたが、本当に静かでまさに私好みのホテル環境でした。フロントはなんか、あまりフレンドリーではありませんが(期待しすぎかな)、朝食レストランのスタッフさんはすごくフレンドリーでした！また3villege walkingのハイキングコースが4.5km先にあり片道4キロには昔ながらのビレッジを３つ通り抜け、標高2000mからの眺めは圧巻！
