Duling Kurtz House & Country Inn

This was a really cool little place with much history. It was a great three day get away in a cozy spot . The adjoining resturant was a little pricey, but the food and servers were wonderful, personable and very professional. My room was quite little, but it afforded me just the right space, a private bath and plenty of comfort and a nice TV. I would certainly recommend this place for couples as it is quite romantic and quaint. I will be back with my wife and we will probably purchase a package with dinner and a bigger room. The host took me on a little tour of the bigger rooms. They feature a cozy porch and all the features the smaller rooms have( but queen and king sized beds. It was nice to sleep where there has been history since the 1700's. Thank you.

The Inn was fantastic. Our server for dinner on October 12 was “off the charts”. Amy was truly awesome. I highly recommend you view the Inn for dinner and request Amy. You will totally enjoy her throughout your evening.

Clean, quiet, comfortable room in a location that was ideal for my stay.

Let me start by saying this building was built in 1830 and is 193 years old. It has enormous charm and it’s a very interesting building. That being said, my bathroom needed a new shower head. Water only came out of a few of the holes. I had air conditioning, but my sister’s room (next door) was stuffy and HOT. But…she did have water in the shower. We were on the 3rd floor. No elevator. It was a walk up. My fault. I should have realized it wouldn’t have an elevator. The manager was lovely. The staff was pleasant. But the 193 year old house was too quirky (for me).
