Jamaica Palace Hotel

Loved this hotel. If you love art, this place full of artistic paintings and decor. The hotel is clean, and the grounds are well maintained. The rooms are a decent size with a sofa, fridge and tv. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely visit again when I’m next in Portland.

Elegant, charming hotel with very friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent complimentary breakfast. Rooms were stately and clean but lack basic amenities (no facial tissues or coffee maker). Grounds and outdoor pool were outstanding. Would definitely return.

I spent 3 days and enjoyed everything: breakfast, dinner, lunch, the pool and so much green spaces. The staff is also very welcoming and they know their job to the perfection 👌. And the owner, a great guy. Only 1 negative: I should have stayed longer

Great base to explore what Portland has to offer, essentially if you’re doing things in and around Port Antonio. The staff are great, very helpful and take a lot of pride in their parish and knowing that people enjoy visiting Portland. Whilst it didn’t have a gym and the room didn’t have any tea/coffee making facilities. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Portland. The grounds are impressive and well maintained. The Jamaica shaped swimming pool was a nice touch. If you are into art, then there’s over 2000 pieces to ponder over as you make your way around the various spaces.
