Kiani Beach Resort Family All Inclusive

We travelled with our 2 young children to the Kiani Beach Resort and had an absolute blast! The food was exceptional, drinks (and cocktails) amazing and the facilities were spotless. Our children loved the pools (although they were a bit chilly) and the ice cream! The location was a bit of a drive from the main airport in Heraklion and 20 minutes from Chania so a car is a must if you want to explore a bit.

We visited as a family group, including a teenager, and there was plenty to keep everyone thoroughly entertained, not a single moment of boredom! The rooms were lovely, and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. We had an absolute blast

I am not a fan of all-inclusive holidays. We chose this for specific reasons. Last year we had better service in Rhodes in a similar type of hotel. The food here is too monolithic. Also, it seems that the excess of certain foods is processed for the next meals - which is unacceptable in my opinion. The wines in the basic all-inclusive offer are terrible - unacceptable for this kind of hotel and price. The complex has 3 restaurants and it is not clear why the meals are not the same in each restaurant - we accidentally noticed this on the last day of our stay. The girls from the animation team are very pleasant and really try to keep the children entertained. The beach would be better if the hotel staff tried to remove some of the stones at the entrance to the sea. There are not so many of them that it is not impossible to either clean it or place sandbags for the entrance (only 2-3 meters into the sea). Then it is mostly sand and tens of meters into the sea.

Apart from the strange taste of ice cream and non heated outdoor pools everything else was ok.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The beach is Sandy. Our room with private pool which we enjoyed a lot. The multiple restaurants were all great . Special thanks to Mr. Emanuel who was making sure that all is perfect all the time . All the staff has lovely smile.
