Welcomed by a genuine smile and cold grape juice. The hotel has such a stunning view, especially from the infinity pool. Breakfast buffet is fresh and diverse. The hotel has a free airport shuttle. Happy to stay again

This is by far the best hotel in Kawthaung. We spent 3 nights here and while we were initially disappointed by having paid quite a bit of money for the same small and basic room as last July only this time with a sea view but for twice the price, we were upgraded to a suite, which was a very generous touch. Dinner was really nice and cheap. Breakfast was buffet during the weekends and ala carte during the week. A highlight of the trip was the day trip to Nyaung Oo Phee Island (next time we'll spend the night or even 2 over there) plus the Maliwan waterfall and hot springs half day trip.

Communication with the hotel prior to our arrival went really smooth. As expected, we arrived at the pier in Kawthaung a little later than planned, but the hotel staff waited for us. Immigration has moved about 200m to the west from its original location. We were then driven to the hotel. At first, we were taken to a bungalow overlooking the pool, but I noticed it was the same size as the rooms with a view of the pond, yet twice as expensive. We took a look at a suite, with bathtub and separate living room with an almost equally nice view, though strangely, the suites are housed in a multi story building rather than a separate villa. After some negotiations and time to think about their offer of a cheap upgrade, the manager decided to upgrade us for free, which was lovely. We spent 3 wonderful nights here. Dinner was really nice and good value for money. Mocktails for only 75 Baht (and they were really refreshing) and the seafood platter for only 340 Baht are recommended. Breakfast was a buffet when there were lots of guests and ala carte on weekdays when fewer guests were staying. We also took a one day tour of Nyaung Oo Phee Island (next time, we'll spend 2 or 3 nights there) and the Maliwan waterfalls, hot springs and Paker beach (which was nothing special but nice to see it anyway). It's a cash only resort though, so bring enough money with you from Thailand (or withdraw from a local ATM). The CB Bank ATM at the front gate to the hotel doesn't work, so you'll need to stop by either the CB Bank or KBZ bank ATM in town.

Few people are traveling to Kawthoung currently because of the ongoing civil war in Myanmar, but this part of the country is relatively safe. As few people are visiting, rates are currently heavily discounted providing accommodation at rates not normally available. The food and beverage prices (with the exception of coffee) are about half current Thailand prices making a stay very affordable. A good option for travellers in Ranong who want to get away for a quiet weekend without breaking the budget. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

A perfect getaway. Spotless clean, a most spectacular entrance - especially at night .when lights give it this special touch. And : they have their own organic food and know how to cook!! A blessing for body and soul. I will return and recommend this treasure to all travellers in the region.
