Murdeira Village

This place has a bed and is nicely located by the sea... this is where positives end. First the staff... they look "done with life", don't want you there, promise help with something but then just ignore the problem. They also barely speak English. But just the attitude... don't expect out-of-script politeness or even a single smile, you're a burden to them. The food in the "restaurant" was terrible. We tries only the breakfast and were glad we didn't pay for "all inclusive". All main dishes (bacon, eggs, sausage) for breakfast were cold and not heated up. The selection was smallest I've ever seen. Cheese and ham were the cheapest you can imagine. Even juice was watered down. The "bar" had a big cocktail menu but they "don't have" anything except caipirinha and sangria, what was the point to even put up the menu? The room had lots of little issues. The mattresses are not very comfortable. The room had a kitchenette but I guess it was decorative because there were no plates, glasses or any kitchenware or cutlery. Water in the sink didn't go down the drain almost at all. The shower head was leaking all over. The closed door was broken. Curtains had holes in them. Towels were shabby. Wi-fi was extremely slow. I would only recommend this place if you get a very low price and only care about a place to sleep. Don't think of this place as a "resort" because it is not. I'm glad we didn't make this mistake because we had a rental scooter and went out to eat to Espargos. Also if you're in this hotel anyway, skip the "bar" in the evening and look around the area to be pleasantly surprised. If you can't go to the city to eat, there's a snack back near the reception that has decent food.

1ère chambre proposée qui sentait la canalisation des toilettes, 2eme chambre avec très forte odeur d'humidité. Effectivement nous avons constaté que le plafond de la salle de bain a été repeint. Impossible de prendre une douche tellement nous avons été dégoûtés de l'état de la salle de bain, rouillée, pleine de calcaire et habitée par une colonie de fourmis et un cafard. Fuyez!!!

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel pendant une semaine. La chambre est grande et confortable. L’hôtel est bien situé et dispose d’une navette gratuite pour aller à Santa Maria. Néanmoins, d’un point de vue culinaire, nous déconseillons de prendre demi pension ou pension complète. Car nous ne nous sommes pas du tout régalé. Nous avons préféré aller manger dans les restaurants aux alentours (largement meilleur). Concernant le petit déjeuner, buffet avec des fruits, des yaourts, différents types de pain, du jambon, du fromage, deux types de céréales genre chocapic ainsi que de l’eau et du jus d’orange et la machine à café. Nous avons également eu le choix sur la carte si vous souhaitez des œufs du bacon etc… Bon hôtel dans l’ensemble mais pour ce qui est des repas nous déconseillons le pension complète
