Beautiful location away from the hustle and bustle of the coastal resorts. Great for hiking (in cooler weather) and fantastic driving sightseeing. Although it is possible to come by bus a car would be more practical. The roads are narrow & windy so great care is needed. The swimming pool is a short walk - 3-4 minutes; there are some umbrellas and lots of sunbeds. No pool towels are provided - so bring your own. The hotel is spotlessly clean everywhere. Breakfast is good, albeit a cold Continental- eggs, cheese, meat, bread, pastries, yoghurt, cereal & juice & coffee. Unfortunately there is no air con but fans are provided to help guests stay cool. Parking is €4 in cash at reception which gives a code for entry & exit of the car park for the duration on one’s stay otherwise it’s €8 by card!! A great place to stay from the crowds!

Good value for what it is; great location on GR221
Good value for what it is. Fantastic if you want to be located in/near the mountains Small, v basic rooms. Shower too small to use with curtain closed - so bathroom becomes wet room Breakfast was slightly chaotic - the buffet layout is not conducive to the number of people being served

To spent a night in a sanctuary is not something one get to experience frequently. While the room is like a 2 star hotel. The vibe of the building is something else. The food is great too

Beautiful monastery with ample history
During my hike along GR221, I stayed at Santuari de Lluc for two nights. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. I enjoyed my stay there. The restaurant was also really nice but I think the food quality varies throughout the week. One evening the dinner was amazing but the next evening it was a bit boring. In late May, it was starting to get a bit too warm here and I'm not sure how it will be in mid-summer to stay here without an AC in the room. If I could have kept the window open, it would have been a bit better, but the windows don't have mosquito nets and I had to choose between sleeping very warm or sleeping with the mosquitos.
