Pondok Siola

Nous avons passer un très agréable moment de repos après l'ascension du volcan. Les repas sont bons et l'endroit très apaisant.

We got a family room with beautiful garden / ocean view in front. Used this stop over (2 nights) to visit the Gilis which can be reached within an hour boat ride. Fantastic ride which can be recommended. Owner & staff all very friendly. Food is nice but honestly takes a bit long to be served. But hey, it's your holiday and with a bit patience and a friendly smile - all was in good order. ;) cheers

位置在距离码头有3公里左右的地方，很安静，但是周围什么也没有，超市餐厅都没有！只能在酒店吃饭，重点是他们做饭实在太慢了，早餐不错，提供洗衣服务，房间很干净，但是热水不稳定，整体性价比不如我们后来住的码头附近的小屋

Stayed for 2 nights in family cottage for about 30 euro per night. Beautiful garden located right next to a black sand beach. What a view! The room and bathroom were basic, almost empty but complete and remarkable clean. Very special, everything in the room worked : the AC was good, Wifi was excellent, tv (with Netflix !) worked excellent, hot water from the shower, door lock was good. Really 10 points for maintenance. Dinner in hotel had little choice, but the food served was good (really liked the curry dishes). Helpfull staff who helped with our snorkling tour, which was also nice. Only point to consider: there is nothing to do or to see in the near surrounding of the hotel, except for the sea. If you want to relax and/or write a book, this is your place. Staff arranged our transport back to Mataram, which also went as expected. I have seen a lot of hotels and places in Indonesia during the last 30 years, this is a good, really good hotel. Recommended, and very highly recommended after a Rinjani climb.

We stayed at Pondok Siola for 2 nights on our way to Sumbawa. A beautiful family run resort right by the beach with the most beautifully cared for gardens. The quiet area makes this the perfect spot to relax - particularly helpful after just having climbed Rinjani. We were instantly made to feel welcome by Harry and his family. The food in the restaurant was delicious (highly recommend the fish and chips!) and we enjoyed listening to the guys singing and playing guitar on an evening. We will certainly return!
