We've always stayed in Islamorada or Key West so we decided to give this location a try. So first off.... the staff was great... the resort super chill and fun to hang out at. The pool is beautiful and you can use the kayaks, play ping pong or corn hole. So location... my only qualm and I knew before I went was that you're gonna be 12 to 15 minutes to restaurants. So if you're day drinking at the resort that drive is long. And you can't get a reasonable price uber or lyft. The place was awesome definitely 4 out of 5 stars... but driving to get dinner and breakfast everyday was a bit of a chore. So just depends if the driving is an issue for your trip.

Honeymoon
We are getting married in Key West, but stopped here on the way and will drive into Key West and get married and then come back to this hotel and stay. For New Year’s Eve. We chose this place because Key West accommodation rates were outrageous. Upon arriving and seeing our room, we absolutely love this place. The staff was beyond accommodating and went out of their way to make us feel welcome for our honeymoon. We have a room that has a private balcony, not all units due, and we absolutely love our room. This hotel is about halfway between Miami and Key West. Not a lot of things to do around the area, but there is an on side restaurant/tiki bar that was very enjoyable. The property has several recreational items, including bicycles, kayaks, etc. but it was too chilly for us to take advantage of those items. Our room backed right up to the water and was equipped with everything we needed for two great nights in the keys!

Amazing
We had a wonderful time. ALL the employees we came across were exceptional. The restaurant on site was amazing. Great food, atmosphere and all the staff were friendly and gave us ideas and information on what we could do. Typically the wife and I eat at various restaurants but this time we ate there every night. Will absolutely stay here again if we come back to the keys.
