The Weinberg Windhoek

Excellent spacious rooms with good facilities and lots of food options.

The Weinberg feels like a little oasis; the rooms are lovely, comfortable, and mine had a little terrace to sit outside. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. This is a great place to stay! As a solo (female) traveler it was recommended that I take taxis instead of walking to local restaurants. This is what my fellow staying at other guesthouses were recommended as well, so not particular to the Weinberg. Upon my return to Namibia, I absolutely will stay at this property again!

Very helpful staff and wonderful breakfast. Good restaurants on site. The only drawback is its somewhat isolated location.

All in All nice relaxing place.

I was hope having good bath after experiencing wind of sand outside. However after check in I found the bath tub plug and one stand lamp were broken, I called maintenanc staff twice before a guy finally come after 1 hour. The staff promised me he will get new one to replace both broken parts but nobody ever came,l I left the hotel next morning. I booked hotel shuttle from/to airport, but never on time either, it makes people anxious especially when you are at an unfamiliar airport arrival there. I disputed to the front desk when I arrived the hotel and they do sincerely say sorry, but I shockingly found the departure shuttle still late when I try to go to airport the next morning. Frankly the room is pretty nice if you don’t care the trash in drawer or there is no broken parts like I had. My wife and I also enjoy the restaurant a lot but it’s so pity the management was far from proper level.
